What is Air Source Water Heat Pump?
Air source water heat pumps or air to water heat pumps extract their heat energy from outside air in order to generate heat. The heat pump uses the heat from ambient air, which is free and a renewable energy source for heating and hot water. This is an energy efficient and environmentally friendly solution.
It is an extremely efficient process as it uses one unit of electricity to drive the compressor to generate upto 4 times the heat. This high COP makes them two to three times more energy efficient than conventional water heaters

The Einsol Technology Advantage
EVI Technology
Thanks to EVI technology, EVI series of Heat Pumps features a wide operating temperature range. They can reach high water temperatures (55°-65°C) even in cold climates ranging from -20°C to 45°C, and can work safely and reliably at ambient temperatures as low as -20°C.
Δ30° Tube to Tube Heat Exchange Technology
Tube-Tube Heat Exchangers (TTHE) design uses a judicious combination of bends, straight lengths, tube diameter/s, tube material/s, thermal bonding material to enable multi-stream multi-phase heat transfer.
Particulars | Heat Exchangewith Δ of 5° | TTHE with Δ of 30° |
| Instant hot / chilled water | Not possible | Streams of hot water available within seconds |
| Recirculation pump | Mandatory | Not Required |
| Pumps required in non pressurised system | Primary and secondary pump is required of higher capacity due to higher flow rate of water | Only primary pump required |
| Pumps required in pressurised system | Secondary pump required | No pump required |
| Storage tank | Mandatorily required to recirculate the water to achieve desired temperature | Optional |
| Feed water for boiler at 70°C | Not Possible | Possible in single pass taking water at 20ºC and delivering upto 70ºC |
| Power saving | Overall COP is less if all pumping consumption is considered | Overall COP is high even if pumping cost is considered |
